About Me

Hello, my name is Heather. I'm a proud mom of a 20-year-old son and a 17-year-old daughter, proud step-mom to a 15-year-old boy, a 14-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old girl. I have been an English teacher for 25 years - teaching 4th, 6th, and 8th-12th grades. I am the luckiest girlfriend to a sweet, kind man. I am a crafter. I crochet, sew, "glam-plan", paint, and create. And I am a budding writer. I've written a couple of books, but I haven't had the courage to try to get them published. I am scared of rejection and failure and judgments. Hopefully, this little blog will give me the courage to step into the deep water of big writing!
